Named after Linda Lacy’s book, We Are Marines, this collection encompasses the stories that were submitted for inclusion in this award winning book and nearly every uniform worn by women Marines from WWI to present.
This book underlines the significant obstacles women in the Marine Corps have encountered and overcome, and the achievements that have secured their place in the most feared fighting force known to the world. Lacy compiled the book from the incredible accounts of female "trailblazers" in the Corps.

From its founding to present day, our mobile exhibition has been dedicated to honoring the service of women Marines and bringing herstory alive by sharing the stories behind the uniforms.
We offer a unique glimpse into the rich history of women Marines by showcasing the people and events that shaped the current policies and opportunities in United States Marine Corps.
Our exhibits feature a diverse range of artifacts and women Marine uniforms from various time periods, carefully curated to provide an educational and enriching experience for visitors of all ages.
We are thankful for every opportunity to share woman Marine history! In many cases, the exhibits are provided at no charge to the requestor if located between Washington D.C. and Camp Lejeune, NC. Cost is determined by distance and lodging requrements. There is no charge for our time.
We continuously seek stories and items to share with as many viewers that we can possibly reach. We have provided displays for various events at venues such as the Women Veteran’s Memorial, the Modern Day Marine Expo, Camp Lejeune, Quantico, Henderson Hall, Parris Island, schools, and veteran’s organizations.
Please contact us to discuss donating a uniform or artifact, or to share a memoire.
You may also help by sponsoring us for an exhibit or sending something from our Amazon wishlist.
Your generous monetary donations assist us greatly in keeping this going by offsetting some of the cost of travel to provide educational mobile exhibitions, and uniform and equipment maintenance.
